Lake Okeechobee

The coolest thing about Lake Okeechobee was saying it… AND I finally got a good picture of a real live aligator up close and personal! Just in case its not obvious, YES, I took this picture!

This was just a stop in between The Villages & Miami. It was a pretty cool spot. Lots of boats & fishermen. I guess people in Florida dont water ski ? Hmm..

The hotel had a cool 4 story structure so you could climb up and get a good view of the area. I saw the gator poking his head up out of the water, which was the best view I’d had yet. After I checked out, I drove by again just to see if he was still there, and he was out working on his tan!! I took the picture and then jumped back in my car. He was only about 10 ft away. So cool!
